Monday, March 5: CUPE 3903 Rally
Time: 11:30 a.m.
Location: Main Gate picket line (Keele & York Blvd)

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) 3903 was one of the first organizations in Canada to support the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions against Israel until it complies with international law. We’ll be joining the CUPE 3903 rally to show solidarity as they strike to maintain and improve the quality of education and defend the security and dignity of their members!

Thursday March 8: Panel on Political Prisoners
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: Kurdish Community Centre, 1290 Finch Ave West (across from Finch West station)

With the arrest of 16-year-old Ahed Tamimi, the longstanding issue of Palestinian political prisoners has once again been brought into the international spotlight. Our panel highlights how tactics of imprisonment are used against progressive liberation struggles, both in Palestine and around the world, specifically in Sri Lanka against the Tamil people and in Turkey against the Kurdish people.
